**NEW PICS**

Went for an ultrasound today, tech says everything looked good. Baby was moving like crazy, but was not cooperating enough so that we could find out what it is. He/she wouldn't open its legs up enough for us to tell. Maybe at my OB appointment in July they will try again, but if not that's alright too I wouldn't mind a surprise :o) Will was soooo excited to go because he hasn't been there yet for an ultrasound so he got to experience it for the first time. WOW! 20 Weeks already

I can't believe that I am half way!! Time is really going fast!! I have an ultrasound scheduled this week and I'm super excited!! It's been a while since I last got to see the baby and I can't wait to see how much he/she has grown. I will be posting my 20 week belly pic and also the ultrasound pics as soon as I get it! It's been a great day and to top it off it's father's day! I get to spend the whole day with my babe because he is off for once thank God! Although I wish I could be back in PA celebrating with my wonderful father and grandpas but hopefully next year and they will also be able to enjoy their new grandchild. I have just had an all around great weekend, Will and I got to go to Elephant Butte, New Mexico for some fishing and we each caught some fish! We had beautiful weather and a very nice relaxing time! I thank God everyday for all he has blessed us with, sometimes it's not much but it's always enough! God Bless every single father out there, and Happy Father's Day!!

Just another check up

Well today I had a check up for the baby and me, and everything is great!! My weight is going UP and the baby is right where he/she is suppose to be... I was hoping for another ultrasound today, but that didn't happen :( in about 2 more weeks though... Still gives me time to decide weather or not to find out the sex. William got to come with me today which always makes me happy to have him there, we got to hear the heartbeat again and it was beautiful! AND I think I starting to feel the baby a little bit and it's AMAZING!!! Well here is a poem that I found that just about brought tears to my eyes so I thought I would share it with everyone...



Tiny movements like tiny kicks
Tiny baby, a mother’s bliss
Can’t wait to give the tiny you
Huge hugs and lots of kisses too

Daddy Hears Baby's Heartbeat

Monday I had my second baby appointment and this time Will got to get off work early to come with me! I was so excited just because I knew the doctor would listen to the baby's heartbeat so Will was going to get to hear it for the first time. He really wanted the doctor to do an ultrasound but she had just done one four weeks ago so I knew she wasn't going to do another. The first thing he asked when he heard it was, "Why is it so fast? Is that normal?" I knew the first time that I heard it that it was normal only because I have a sister and a sister-in-law who have kids, so I kinda already know what to expect. Ann also just had a baby 8 months ago so she also reminds me of what is normal.

It was a very strong heartbeat and the doctor was VERY happy with it. She seems to think that my next appointment in four weeks she will be able to tell us if it is a boy or girl... That is if i wanna find out... I just can't wait for the next appointment only because I get to see the baby again and see how much he/she has grown.

Just The Beginning

So I was in California when I found out that I was pregnant, and I didn't tell Will until i came home, and we wanted to keep it from everyone till my first appointment just to make sure everything was alright. I went to Cali with Ann and her two kids Skyler and Gavin just to get away, and Ann wanted to show me and visit all the places that she had missed since moving to El Paso. We had a great time and did TONS of things, I got to experience my first Disney trip, and also my fist melting pot experience. We went to the Knottsberry farm and also the beach... It was just a week full of new and exciting things for me. The one night we had a girls night and Haley, her sister Whitney, Ann and I got all dolled up and we met up to go eat at the Melting Pot. While at dinner we started talking about babies, and for some reason they all were curious to know if I was pregnant because I wasn't feeling myself that night. I was kinda shocked but at the same time I didn't know if I was or not, so I kinda just played it off and just tried to change the subject. There were a few signs that I was experiencing but I decided to keep it to myself. After dinner we went to a club where Ann's husband used to work at and it was PACKED!!! We had a great time, we danced and laughed harder than I ever have.

The week was coming to a close and on the second to last day I told Ann maybe we should take a trip to Walmart. I didn't even have to tell her why, she already knew what it was for. We went and purchased a pregnancy test and then went back to her grandparent's house where we were staying and we went straight to bed because we had a long trip back to TX in the morning. When I woke up in the morning I had this strong urge to take the test, I was gonna tell Ann but I decided not too. The test said PREGNANT, I handed the test to Ann and we both started crying. That was the talk the WHOLE way back to TX!! We didn't get home till really late and Will was already asleep but I was so excited that I had to wake him up. I handed him a gift bag that had a shot glass and the test in it and he was so socked, he was speechless!! He did however make me take another test that night, and it was also positive! We were on cloud nine! It was a great moment that I will never forget! Ann and I figured that I was about 7 weeks along, and the doctor that I wanted to see didn't except patients till 10 weeks.. It was so exciting when I finally got to see the doctor. She did an ultrasound and that's when it all hit me!


TEN WEEKS

First Blog

Well here I am, FINALLY... Will is gone for the weekend, hunting turkey, and I decided that this would be a great time to start my Blog. I'm starting this blog mainly because I am away from my home state and we found out we were expecting a baby so I figured this would be a GREAT way for everyone to see my belly grow and they could see the progression of the pregnancy. There is facebook but not everyone I know has it just yet, so this is perfect!! Oh yeah and the other reason is because my friend Ann has been bugging for me to get it started, she's a blogging fanatic, I love her :). Soooo, I hope you all enjoy it!!
